CFO Partners with Dynamic Outsource Solutions for 1343 Actionline Against Human Trafficking
On 17 February 2011, CFO Chairperson Imelda M. Nicolas signed an Agreement with Dynamic Outsource Solutions (DOS1), represented by its Chief Executive Office Edgardo H. Cayton, for the 1343 Actionline Project spearheaded by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas.
The 1343 Actionline is a 24/7 hotline facility specifically intended to (a) receive and respond to requests for assistance, inquiries and/or referrals from victims including their families and the public on cases of human trafficking and (b) systematize the referral and follow-up of cases vis-à-vis the appropriate government agencies or non-government organizations especially those capable of providing direct and immediate assistance to victims.
The 1343 Actionline Project is the initiative of the Advocacy and Communications Committee of the Inter-Agency Council Against Human Trafficking (IACAT-ADVOCOM) headed by the CFO under the leadership of Secretary Nicolas. It shall be co-implemented by CFO and the various IACAT member agencies and non-government organizations. The DOS1, as one of the leading business process outsourcing companies in the country, will provide the technical and manpower support to the hotline.
The 1343 Actionline Project will be officially launched on 15 March 2011 in time for the celebration of Women's Month.
Witnesses to the signing of the Agreement were CFO Executive Director Mary Grace Tirona, DOS1 Contact Services Head Kelvin Parohinog, DOS1 Service Quality Department Head Ryan Cesar, CFO Division Heads Regina G. Galias and Engr. Romeo Rosas II, and Mr. Philip Ting of the Office of the CFO Secretary.
