In observance of the International Day Against Trafficking (IDAT), which is annually observed on December 12, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) conducted activities aimed at raising public awareness about human trafficking, its red flags, and encouraging action on suspected cases by calling the 1343 Actionline against Human Trafficking. The Actionline is a 24/7 hotline operated by the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking, which responds to emergency or crisis calls from victims of human trafficking and their families. [...]
